Dedication Weekend at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Edina, MN was one of the church's largest events, with over 1,400 attendees for Mass, 200 volunteers, and 14 events over the course of September 17 and 18, 2022. The purpose of the weekend was to dedicate and bless their new Preschool, Middle School classrooms, and gym.

Branding & Identity

I created Dedication Weekend as a sub-brand of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church & School, which uses their signature blue and purple colors as well as their brand font Open Sans. To make the Dedication Weekend brand stand out in OLG's marketing as a unique and important event, and to create a visual association between each asset and the event, I incorporated the color orange into all the designs. The overlapping triangles and bold headers were used consistently throughout the project.

Social Media

I created a series of social media images to detail each event, each using a similar look based off the Dedication Weekend brand.

Indoor Signage

I also created flyers that my coworkers could use around campus and hand out to local businesses. These were created in both Letter and Tabloid size.

Web Experience

The first communication channel created was the website, which housed information about each event happening during Dedication weekend. Find the current web experience here.

Outdoor Signage

We were fortunate enough to have a budget that would accommodate several on-campus banners. This one was 8 feet wide, and was hung along the driveway.

Informational Posters

As well as the flyers, I also created a 24”x36” poster for each event to label their space in the building as well as some directional signs that were hung indoors.

Other assets that were created for Dedication Weekend included a postcard mailer to local homes and businesses, verbal notices for pre-established communication channels of the church, directional yard signs, name tags, thank-you cards, and printed materials for specific events throughout the weekend such as trifold brochures and table signage.
