I began my work with Rise & Shine by helping them develop a visual identity that reflected their mission and purpose: to support young scholars in Mamponteng, Ghana.

This new visual identity included legible and engaging fonts that matched the organization’s voice, colors that mirrored the flag of Ghana, and imagery that drew the focus back to the students they support.

Next, I created a set of rebranded stationery designs, including business cards, letterhead, envelopes, and note cards. I also built out a new website and branded email templates that seamlessly integrate their brand with their digital presence.

After finalizing their standard brand materials, we moved into the creation of marketing materials for their annual fundraising event, the SHINE ON Minneapolis Breakfast. I put together designs for save-the-date’s and invitations, a website landing page for the event, and flyers in multiple sizes, as well as materials for use at the event including the program, pledge cards, signage, and powerpoint presentation.
